Birds of Paradise is the current exhibition at Momu Fashion museum Antwerp, and let me tell you, you just have to go! It’s such an amazing exhibition that I’ll be visting it for the 3’th time nex sunday. I shared a ton about this exhibition on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, but in case you’ve missed it, I’d like to remind you of these amazing exhibition here.
There’s only little time to go and visit this pretty exhibition. It ends at 24/08. So don’t hesitate, just go!
And if you want to peek just a little more into this exhibition, clik on ‘more’.
The first time I visited the exhibiton I met the lovely bloggers Nikki and Sven. We were invited to a night only for bloggers. It was lovely! A guide showed us the arround, and we also could take a peek behind the scenes.
I loved this exhibition even before I walked in. I loved the promotional pics so much! Just form watching those I knew it was going to be a magical exhibiton! And girl, it is a magical experience!
Thank you Momu Antwerp and Farrow & Ball for inviting me!
The second time I visited the exhibiton was during ‘Museum Night’ with one of my bestier Sofie, my boyfriend and a mutual friend of Sofie and me. Museum Night is one night a year where you can go and visit a ton museums during one night in one city. That begin said, off course I had to go back to Momu and again I fell in love! The only sad thing was that it was super busy! I didn’t had the feeling I could experience the exhibiton to it’s fullest potential, but then again I think it’s a good way to get the feel of a museaum and decide wheter you wont to go back in more quit moment or not. And with the wristband you can visit one museum for free during August. I’m pretty sur you know which one I’ll be picking.
Are you curious who you’ll meet at the exhibition? You’ll be able to admire work from .a. Chanel, Cristóbal Balenciaga, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Nina Ricci, Luis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler, Giambatista Valli, Yves Saint Laurent en Ann Demeulemeester.
Even though I love this exbition I won’t dress myself in any real feathers, so I should go out and find a fabric with a lovely feather print.
Did you spot the perfect peacock fabric? Please let me know, I’ve been searching for it for years!
Are you planning on visiting this exhibition? Or did you visit it all ready?
I’m very curious to find our you opinion!
